Visiting any church for the very first time can make anyone a little nervous. Where do I go? What do I wear? What time do I show up? Whatís here for my kids? What can I expect? These and many more questions can come to your mind. Well, we want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Grace Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and ďat home!Ē Here are a few answers to your questions about what you might expect on your first visit.
What Can I Expect On My First Visit?
You canít miss our campus just off of Davis Hwy. in Pensacola. You will find plenty of places to park, and as you enter the church building, one of our greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you may have.
On Sundays, most adults attend at least one worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, and challenging Bible message from Pastor Eason. This service is about one hour in length. Also before the Sunday morning service there are Sunday School classes. These classes are smaller group settings where you are invited to meet people and hear a teaching lesson more directly applicable to your life-stage. The best way to get to know people at Grace Baptist Church is to visit one of these Bible classes.
Where Can I Take My Children?
Starting with excellent nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children three years old and under. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
What About My Teens?
Our student ministries include both Junior and Senior High School. Most of the teens attend a class for one hour and then the worship service another hour with their parents.
How Should I Dress?
There is not a dress code at Grace Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional ďSundayĒ dress. However, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Grace Baptist Church!
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
No. We donít invite you to Grace Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from Godís Word, and a place where you can grow in Godís grace. Please donít feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
